Statesville EMS Base
Statesville EMS base is the main base for Iredell County EMS. It houses the billing department, the training department, the EMS supervisor, the EMS director, and the Operations Manager. It is located behind the Statesville Civic Center on S. Meeting St. The coverage area for Statesville base go east to the Davie County line, west to the Catawaba County line, north to Dunlap Gate road, and south to the Third Creek Bridge on Hwy 21/115.
Statesville base houses 3 EMS, Advanced Life Support, crews 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The EMS supervisor's vehicle (a QRV), the EMS Directors's and the EMS Operations Officer's vehicles are also stationed at Statesville base.
You can listen for the Statesville crews on the radio by the call signs IMED2, IMED3, and IMED8. The EMS supervisor is IMED1.
